The Roar of the Jersey Shore Since 1950
A LEGENDARY
HISTORY
Founded in 1950 by Tom and Jennie Nicol on 55 rolling acres just off Route 34, Wall Stadium Speedway was born from a vision of creating the premier short-track facility in the Northeast.
At its inception, the track's 30-degree banking was practically unheard of for a 1/3 mile oval. This radical design became the track's signature, demanding extraordinary skill and courage from any driver brave enough to tackle the high banks.
Over the decades, the "Shore's Center of Speed" has served as the proving ground for racing icons. NASCAR champions and Hall of Famers like Martin Truex Jr, Ray Evernham, and Jimmy Spencer all cut their teeth on the legendary asphalt of Wall Stadium.
Today, under the leadership of Peter Maletto and Fred Archer, the speedway continues to honor its storied past while pushing toward a high-octane future, keeping the spirit of Jersey Shore racing alive for a new generation of fans.
